Meet North Shire Pale- our New England/Hazy Pale Ale, and one we think is going to become a go-to.
Built on a grain bill of English Pale, Oats, White Wheat, American Honey Malt, and Dextrin Malt, North Shire Pale is loaded chock full with New Zealand hops - Nectaron, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, El Dorado, Pacific Sunrise, and Dolcita. NZ hops are highly sought after in juicy, hazy beers for their vibrant tropical and white-grape aromatics paired with naturally soft bitterness. The result is a saturated, modern hop character that feels bright, smooth, and balanced.
It pours with a golden-orange haze, a soft glow, and a creamy white head to finish. On the nose: white grape, passionfruit, pineapple, and bright citrus peel. In the glass: juicy nectarine, guava, and ripe citrus with gentle sweetness. Medium-bodied, pillowy, and smooth - at 5.0% ABV, it's highly drinkable.
If you've had our Tropical Drift and are looking for something a touch more sessionable, North Shire Pale is the move.
